This film has aged SO incredibly well in my mind. The first time i watched it i found it boring. It wasn't really my thing and every single scene felt so excruciatingly long. BUT NOWWW, I was locked in from the first minute. Everything in this film was so well made. The atmosphere of Miami is amazing, I love the use of coloring, the characters are amazing, insanely good soundtrack and the storytelling is great. It really feels like you're truly getting immersed into the story of a drug overlord in 80s usa. I have to take back what I said about this film not being my thing because it most definitely is. This time the pacing actually felt pretty good and the film basically flew by. I enjoyed everything about this.

This was like by far way better than I remembered it being. Like yeah, I didn't remember it being bad but damn I didn't remember it being THIS good either?? I fear deep down I'm just a film bro in a teenage girl disguise. I actually hate the sigma overtake on this film because it's genuinely such a well made piece of art. I do have to mention, this was the first time I ever watched Fight Club on Blu-Ray and I absolutely loved the menu design. Like it's so sick actually. Both the fake and real ones.

I liked this wayy more than I expected to. It was so interesting to see how Nolan adapted the original story of the Odyssey onto the big screen, even if it wasn't super 100% accurate to the original story. I think he made a great ADAPTATION, all while utilizing the original story. The historical accuracy wasn't great tho. I'm not really sure on my full opinion tho yet. The movie was obviously very very long but I actually had so much fun watching this even tho it isn't my type of film like, at all. Long boring war scenes and movies aren't usually my thing and nor were they really in this, but everything in between, I really enjoyed. Ugh I find both greek mythology and history so interesting so this was so fun to watch because of that too. Just the overall story was amazing and i loved it tho. At some point it did get kind of repetitive tho because they just kept fighting, sailing, going on land, something bad happens and they escape to sail again. Even though I didn't necessarily find the length of a film a negative aspect, I do think the way they executed it in this wasn't the best. Also obviously, the cinematography was very beautiful. IMAX cameras were MADE to be viewed at the cinema and I'm so glad I did go to see it there even though I wasn't originally planning to watch this at all. If something, Nolan did a great job with that. The array of actors in this film was very random too. Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Zendaya, Anne Hathaway, Jon Bernthal, Mia Goth, Elliot Page, Robert Pattinson, Travis Scott??? All in the same film?? I can't remember the last time I was able to name so many actors in one film on the first watch. It's like invincible spending half the budget of the episode on the most random useless celebrities to do some side roles. At least this was better in quality overall.

Finally got peak on disc
