the story of this film reflects the way that Maria lived the last days of her life. its deeply emotional and the use of the film crew and interviewee “mandrax” which relates to the hallucinations that she was having was a great way to explain the hallucinations themselves. you never seem to believe the deep emotion struggle that those of fame go through and the see the long term effects of childhood and adult trauma take over the life of someone in astounding. Angelina Jolies performance was something out of this world I was not familiar with any of the characters in the movie, but I seemed to connect with her and her struggles. I loved the cinematography made the film that much better, it was not perfect but who am I to be a critique. it was a good watch that I think would leave you thinking/reflecting in some sort of way. Give it a watch
