I know Paul Thomas Anderson has made legendary films after this one, specifically Boogie Nights. When i watched the start of this movie, it was hopeless, everything else is bad or mediocre, some are decent, but that’s about it. The acting is decent at MOST, the dialogue is horrible, the cinematography is pretty good, so is the score, but the writing is fucking RIDICULOUS. The only thing i can acknowledge about PTA in this film is the tension he builds, but he just doesn’t finish. One of the most lackluster endings i have ever seen, horrible film. Thank god this film was only 1 hour and 42 minutes long.
