Memento
“Now where was I?”
Memento is honestly one of the most amazing films I’ve seen. The plot and story are incredible, filled with tension, mystery, and a level of suspense that keeps you hooked from start to finish. The twist towards the end is just brilliant and ties the entire film together in such a clever way. I genuinely think this is Nolan’s best-directed movie. The direction is peak, every frame feels intentional, and the pacing is handled perfectly. The cinematography is beautiful, capturing the mood and confusion of the story so well. The acting is top-tier, and the characterization is done with great detail, making every scene impactful. What makes this movie stand out is how unique it feels, both in its structure and storytelling. It’s such an underrated masterpiece, a film that deserves way more recognition for what it accomplishes. Easily one of Nolan’s greatest and most perfectly executed pieces of work.
