Okay, I was expecting a linear film because the only Fellini film I'd seen was "Nights of Cabriria," but I found myself confronted with magnificent surrealism, a diffuse story but at the same time he wants to express a feeling of disdain for the world of cinema and the elites. It talks about the pressure on a director who wants to make a masterpiece, but is held back by his past, both his childhood and his adult life up to that point. Wonderful film, I have nothing bad to say about it, amazing camerawork, and an almost eerie performance. It's not for the faint of heart, as it's so thought-provoking that it can overwhelm you, or you might simply not understand anything. I didn't understand anything either, I won't lie, but I have my theories about what the story, full of symbolism, is about. Highly recommended if you want density, to think, and to end up with your eyes wide open.
