A Clockwork Orange
This movie is a masterpiece. It presents, in a post-apocalyptic world, the reality not only of the moment but of the present. A brilliant critique of any institution, with a backdrop of ultraviolence. The way it portrays the loss of self-control and free will is wonderful, and this is my 4th time reviewing this film, but it still doesn't change my opinion about it. The film's ending is wonderful, and it's written as a critique of the Nixon administration and the way it used people as political props. Now that I've finished watching it, I want to see it again, and I think it's one of the best movies I've ever seen. Full of symbolism and a feeling of a rotten society is what characterizes this film, and that's what makes it so good for me.
