Rope
One-shot sequence, intriguing, wonderful, it looks like a play. I would recommend it to anyone; it explores the complexity of human nature in each of the characters, and shows the destructive ideas of the elites from the point of view of a degenerate who, after several conversations about the murder, he feels not remorseful but excited by his artistic way of taking the life of another "inferior". This film is very relevant today, despite its release date, and can be seen in the context of the rise of global fascism, with people who consider themselves aligned with that ideology, mistakenly believing they belong to that group of selected people. A film that should be seen at least once in a lifetime. The truth is that I had been told that this movie was difficult to watch, but nothing could be further from the truth, it is intriguing, devastating and simple in terms of settings. All it takes is a good script and a good performance to make a masterpiece like this.
