The Wicker Man
This movie ran so Middommar could walk slowly and even with that trip over a couple of times, and then be praised as a masterpiece in horror. It has been a wonderful viewing, an exhibition between Christianity and "paganism" that follows other different gods. Perhaps the reason I'm not giving it more stars is because they don't end the film with the highest quality crop growth, but it's still an open ending that doesn't indoctrinate you and makes you think. I think it's one of the best horror movies I've seen in a long time, along with Candyman, and it deserves a fair review. I can't believe people idolize Midsommar as the best folk horror film, because it's an incredible rip-off of this, and it doesn't even have the philosophical and reflective part. I really enjoyed it, and I think it's something that should be seen.
