Obsession

Inde Navarrette makes Nikki’s affection genuinely frightening. She carries the movie from beggining to the end. Bear getting exactly what he wished for, at the cost of her free will. Nikki’s behavior escalates, Bear avoids dealing with it, and the cycle repeats. His selfishness makes sense, but his constant hesitation starts to feel like a way to stretch the story.
