Secret Level

Some episodes made me want an entire series, while others felt like expensive game trailers. The animation is gorgeous, but the storytelling doesn’t always match it. At its best, Secret Level shows how much these game worlds have to offer. At its weakest, it ends just when there’s finally something worth getting invested in. Uneven, but still worth watching.
