Westworld

Westworld makes watching the same routine become more disturbing each time something changes. A remembered conversation or a gesture suddenly means someone is waking up. Anthony Hopkins, Jeffrey Wright, and Thandiwe Newton make those discoveries worth caring about, while Ramin Djawadi’s music gives the park its own identity. The later seasons lose some of that precision, but its best episodes are extraordinary.
