genuinely such a heartbreaking movie and i dont think ill ever rewatch but there was a scene depicting the rape in such a detailed way that felt wrong and unsafe for the child. i obviously understand it was consented but the bathtub scene with the younger brother and the teacher made me question if that scene was necessary. it looks so real but i get that’s the point for using such a scene to really portray what those kids went through. such a sad dark bleak world we live in
