Zodiac
Zodiac kept me engaged throughout the entirety of the movie and it allowed to see Mark Ruffalo for the first time and Robert Downey Jr. for the second time in roles outside of Marvel, proving their solid acting skills, especially in drama/thriller setting.
One of my favourite aspects about this movie, which might not be a popular opinion, is the fact that we don't get the conclusion one would hope for as we come into this movie, particularly if one doesn't possess a lot of knowledge on the matter at hand.
The writing is solid, it is well filmed and Jake Gyllenhaal does a wonderful job as the lead for the movie. It feels refreshing to come across a truly solid movie nowadays.
