All the moral questioning and alienation turns what once seemed trivial into something extraordinary. A system that disguises itself as human and mundane, where being a part of it is commonplace, and wanting to fight against it makes you despicable and cancelable. Carol was seeking to awake everyone: the opportunists, the young people who want to be a part of it, those who refuse to look beyond the empty shells their loved ones have become; being like that (or should I say...this) is not being human, and such a system only seeks a way to make you their next alienated one, the next empty body full of "knowledge" and "learning," the next sticky branch of this infinite web, perfectly pleasant and united, but without pain of one's own or others', without causing anything, without thoughts created within oneself, without humanity, without life.
