favorite christmas movie. love how true it is to the nostalgic feel of it, especially being shot on film rather than digitally like most modern movies. the character development in this is splendid and truly well acted. the way that the story unfolds is very deliberate, in other words a strong intent in how it was shot. there was a sweetness to the may-december romance and innocence as it progresses into something more. the love scenes were tastefully done and meant to draw you in, instead of repel you. beautifully done!!
