This is actually exquisite in ways that hadn’t occurred to me in the first watch. Such a brilliant portrayal of two neurodivergent people falling in love, paired with an accurate representation of dealing with self-harm. The use of colour purple throughout the sequence is unmatched. A gem of a movie, indeed.
