We all agree that Toy Story 3 had the best conclusion, but damn, this was still really good. For a little context, my first birthday was Toy Story-themed, and I still love the franchise. I love the goofy characters and how charismatic Woody was. The first three movies were absolute cinema, of course, but the fourth movie was just okay to me and honestly the weakest in the series. I had high expectations for this one, and it definitely delivered. The film has a pretty generic ending and story structure, but besides that, it still has that special Toy Story magic. The imagination sequences are very different now, which I actually loved (RIP to the old ones). I also loved the colorful aesthetic. Seeing Woody and Buzz on the big screen again felt just like when I watched Toy Story 3 in theaters. The animation is incredibly fluid, and from a technical standpoint, the film does a great job. The new Lily Pad character was a great addition, and I thought the message of the film was pretty solid. It’s honestly sad that technology is becoming the new norm for kids nowadays. Technology definitely has its benefits, but I feel like toys help shape who you become because they encourage imagination and give you something to bond over with your friends. Now it’s more about what iPad you have instead of physically talking and playing together, and I think that loses some of the magic. Jessie was one of the characters who didn’t bring that much appeal to me, but I know a lot of people will love her in this movie, especially during the lunchbox scene. Also… Bad Bunny is here? AND TOBY FOX? EXCUSE ME? Overall, it was a great experience. It’s definitely better than the fourth movie, and honestly, I wouldn’t mind if they kept making more.

As of now, this is definitely the greatest film in the franchise and a great watch. I loved how we got to know the characters more, and I finally got to see some of the franchise’s iconic scenes. The pacing was fast, and the cinematography was excellent in several moments. I also loved the overall shape and structure of the story, and the characters were genuinely great. Some parts were a little slow, but they were never underwhelming or uninteresting. It’s definitely a huge step up from the first two films.

First, I have to mention that I loved Donny, and his introduction was really good. The ending was solid, to say the least, and while I feel this is one of the weaker films for me, it still had its strengths. Personally, I didn’t really find the spark in this film, but it had some enjoyable scenes and did certain parts better than the first movie like the characters getting more intriguing and what is Harry
