DayQuils #1 Hater All the best movies are about art in a way (or they are the pirates of Penzance) Joel if you're seeing this I changed my 4 favs I'm sorry

I honestly just didn't really get grabbed by the emotional throughline of this movie. I understand what this movie was trying to do and the representation is really important, but the narrative itself just doesn't have much depth and it was essentially "how many emotional punches can we hit people with during the runtime" without real reasons for those punches

I gotta be honest, I ate this up. This movie is everything the MCU has been trying to be post endgame. It's fun, it's funny, it has awesome action, and it actually got me engaged in the story. I went to target after watching this hoping they had the toy he man sword they sell in stock but they were sold out and I was genuinely upset, that's how much fun I had

"your mom's a bitch!" This movie is so crazy and I never knew where it was going to go next, but it held my attention the whole time and had strong heart

I finished my run in the highschool version of this show, and while I rated that at about the same level as the og movie, I see why people give this show so much praise for improving on the film, because yeah, this rocked
