Samurai Champloo

Just finished Part 1: The Edo Chapter, and it was fantastic! Kinda what I expected, and was disappointed to have missed, from Cowboy Bebop. Stylistically the coolest thing ever maybe. Stays true to the aesthetics of Samurai’s, but kept fresh and dynamic by the Hip-Hop influences - something that I always felt a little unsure on (both how it would take form and if I’d like it) but immediately fell in love with in Episode 1.
