Magnolia
This was brilliant, how am I just watching for the first time now? The casting was actually perfect and that soundtrack is top tier, literally banger after banger. What struck me most tho is how deeply human it all felt despite its surreal moments at times, like the frog scene which scared the shit out of me btw. Every character is aching for something like forgiveness or love, and PTA perfectly gives them the space to unravel completely which I loved. The performances are sooo good too, but more than that, they feel damn necessary, like each breakdown has been building up for a long time !! Safe to say everyone did their big ones on this.
