“I feel like a spectator in my own life. Like I’m playing a supporting role in my own life.” I first watched this in July 2023. I was starting my third year of college and I was basically in the same position as Julie in the start of the film. However, once I finished watching it I remember thinking “I don’t wanna be like Julie”. Of course Julie’s character by the end of film is doing what she loves professionally and is more content with where her life is, but I didn’t want that content-ness to come in my 30s - I wanted to get it right from the start. Now I rewatch this film on my 24th birthday. I have been working in my career for a year and half. But in this watch I’m envious of Julie and her ability to make mistakes or better yet her ability to make learning opportunities. I’m 24 and I’m doing something (which I do truly like) that I probably will be doing in the same, or nearly the same, capacity for the rest of my career. Everyday I probably am going to wake up at the same time, go to bed the same time, have the same time for my hobbies, and most of all have the same desire for more - which won’t be fulfilled. I wish I was like Julie. I wish I spent more time making mistakes. Anyways, back to the movie. I personally prefer Sentimental Value over TWPITW, however, it’s like comparing United CR7 to Madrid CR7 - at the end of the day it’s still CR7.

I love curb

“What’s that suppose to mean?” *“What’s that suppose to mean?”* I love Brian Cox’s character in this

These two, Zendaya and Robert Pattinson, are the best in their class. They both were absolutely amazing in this movie, Pattinson in the final third especially. It was also surprisingly funny.
