Baby Driver

i liked it a lot very good pacing and very good cinematography. one of the best protagonists of an action film imo and had a strong moral compass despite being in an immoral business. and i liked how he used music as an escapism and created another escapism for the audience too with the synchronised music and action so it’s like an escapism within an escapism idk if that makes sense it’s 5am i really hated bats he annoyed me the whole film my favourite part was when he died he was so cringe noah fence. but i liked how he was the annoying chaotic paranoid one and buddy was the cool calm collected one but when darling dies he becomes crazy like bats which darling did foreshadow a lot kinda predicted darling and buddy being the villains from the start but i didn’t mind it. darling’s contrast with deborah should’ve been explored more cos it was clearly intentional but not explicit enough. but i liked the amount of duality between characters like deborah / darling, buddy / bats, doc / baby. idk if it was on purpose but all the girls begin with d and all the boys begin with b probably have for phonetic aesthetics idk  i don’t think debora was a compelling enough love interest. she was very likeable but was mostly an archetype than a character but baby was such a good protagonist i didn’t even care. the ending was my favourite part when they finally got a car they couldn’t afford to drive off to whenever they want like they always spoke about.
