Here
this was an fantastic american piece of media.
there were bits i didn’t like, which example was margaret’s words at the end.
a rare moment did appear which never happens when i watch movies, i fucking cried.
i have so much to say and i don’t know how to or if i even should. i’m scared to end up like margaret and richard (aren’t we all?) though at the same time im not. i want a successful life and i’m thankful my interests align with fields that thrive in the job market. i admit, I’ve always held some judgment toward people who pursue paths in life that don’t seem to directly benefit the world. for that, I’m sorry. this movie didn’t really change it, i mean i’m not an idiot, i know people can’t change what they truly want. they can try to bury those desires and conform to societal norms, thinking it will make their lives better. but in reality, it only makes it worse. we saw that happen. they were happily miserable. i don’t understand why margaret made that 180 at the end. her memory was too hazy i guess.
overall, he would’ve been a great artist and she would’ve been a damn good lawyer.
