Highway
After completing this movie, i can say ive watched one of the best movies of my life, ive never been thrown into this much distraught and anguish over a piece of film. Each and every aspect of this movie is what makes it imperfectly perfect, almost like imtiaz wanted us to feel that love is just imperfect people making each other perfect. Was this the old Bollywood? Was this the cinema my father witnessed? Yes, they did. Laut aao Bollywood, the contemporary films makes me vomit of how the quality has been degraded so MUCH. Its like imtiaz would be ashamed with modern day films of Bollywood. No wonder, Bollywood was the peak of indian cinema. I can never forget this film, itll be a piece of mine. I just cant fathom a person wrote this and breathed into it. Imtiaz ali what a man you ARE! Rockstar tamasha love aaj kal jab we met and this? Wow this is peak filmography. I just love how he just did this movie overall, its like the magic is the vibrant warmth imtiaz gives into each frame, he directs in such a way that you truly feel he wants you to believe in second chances and open roads. What a casting by him as well. Alia bhatt, im sorry if i ever underestimated you, you are a gem. This movie wouldve been impossible without you. And ranveer hooda, WOW. Man, this film is genuinely a 10/10. I said this a lot but this time i fully mean it. Imtiaz ali is so bold that he never was scared to navigate in dark spaces, rather he embraced it so much that even days felt dark. A specific dark and then he gives the light at the end. I was never familiar with your game imtiaz ali. This stuff was peak.
