I cannot put into words how great this film really is. It hits you like a 500 ton truck that is enough to kill in the dead of the night. When the world is quiet and resting youre left sitting there with the silence that has consumed you. Its pure aching heartbeating poetry in motion.  Harry stanton as Travis is an all time masterclass in acting without needing to say a word. The way he communicates absolute, soul crushing isolation and heartbreak just through his eyes and body language in that first hour is unreal. When he finally does speak, every single word carries the weight of five years of silence. His character was so far complex to understand.  I wont even say how the other actors carried this film on their backs. Natassja kinski with her motherly love for hunter. Walt being the best brother to Travis. I feel walt is an inspiration for all of our brothers out there. Heartwarming. Hunter what an acting at that age. And anne killed it.  Drive before drive❤️
