The Incredible Hulk
“I have few techniques that could manage that anger of yours effectively.
You, zip it. We’re walking. “
Even the hulk listens to his mommy 😂
MOST overhated film in the mcu universe. MOST. Just because it came out a month later to iron man and marvel being bossy and typical of em not pulling shit together. Every damn time i rewatch this film (prolly over 50 or smn) i get into this film even MORE.
An absolutely amazing soundtrack from craig armstrong. Absolutely amazing. It was just intense and heart racing action when those action scenes were happening. What i liked the most was how the music distorted when hulk got disarrayed after an elbow from abomination. Thats proper detailing, and wow what writing. Just amazing. Thankfully, norton being the man he is pulled his strings right and rewrote the script for hulk otherwise i dont know what marvel was planning to make it that SHIT. They nerfed my hulk so bad istg that it physically emotionally mentally pisses the fuck out of me. Mind you this guy was scaring THANOS & DOOM.
Even though i dislike this take on hulk to an extent im still adamant that endgame wouldn’t have happened and infinity war would’ve been wrapped in the starting minutes if this hulk was present. This guy, full antidote and still beat abomination and choked him to death if only wasnt for betty.
What im also sure is about how if marvel did not panic seeing ang lees hulk, and allowed louis and norton to do their magic in 150 min cut. That wouldve made more sense and we wouldve seen hulk as a misunderstood anti hero throughout. Those deep scenes that norton and louis wanted wouldve made this film 10000x better, i mean CMON how do u expect audiences to feel this guys pain when hes always beating the shit out of others.
Oh hulk, they will NEVER make me hate you. And they never will. I love you so much hulk. If only mcu never nerfed you so much that they. Agh idk MAN. I could think of so many situations this film couldve been way more improved if it wasnt for marvel. Whata movie. Oh my god.
By keeping him at a static size and cap on his power level during the Harlem fight, they treated him more like a standard muscle-bound brawler rather than an escalating, world-ending force of nature. Imagine if, during that Harlem brawl against Abomination, every punch Abomination landed just made Hulk swell another two feet, cracking the asphalt beneath his feet under sheer mass.
Instead, Marvel played it safe, neutered the character's solo potential, and eventually turned him into a background comedy act in later phases.
