The Odyssey
Only 4 or 5 films in my entire life have managed to awestruck me in such a way that i keep thinking about it for a very long time after ive done the honors of watching it. What i can surely say is the odyssey is one of them now.
What an absolute peach from nolan. On the way to the cinema i said how nolan doesnt excite me as a filmmaker. Matter of fact he doesnt grab my balls like that. Today, he was FONDLING it. Absolute cinema. And i bet the IMAX experience added shit ton to it. And that’s exactly somewhat how he intended (not 70mm💔) but yes it was another fricking level. This film personally is the best in his filmography. What a film im still awestruck after hours.
I was hesitant based on the casting and i would still say some of em shouldve been different like helena (im NOT racist pls dont kill me) or others even zendaya. But they all managed to work together and made the film better. The best character i liked? HAS to be of robert Pattinson his role itself needn’t much of importance rather than being a suitor but the way he showed hus cowardice towards the end through his face. Wow. Odysseus too. U could feel the rage inside of him. Im literally auramemnon.
