Fargo
Okay, this is what a masterpiece is and this will forever be one. The dream esque dialogue which doesn’t fit the film at all works a whole lot better than i thought it would and i can’t give more praise to the writing than say that this will forever be a masterpiece. I put this film off for so long and holy hay this is absolutely mind boggling, I’m not kidding nor overexagerrating when i say this is a genuine piece of art that shall forever be preserved. The shots in this are just so iconic and the top down shots are just stunning, the score made me tear up because i just recognised that this is what it’s all about real cinema or as someone else would call it, Absolute Cinema. I think the performances in this give off a feeling that can’t be matched, Steve Buscemi gives a very, very great performance but paired with Stormare it suddenly becomes perfect It’s almost poetic how well the two roles pair and add to eachother, and it would be a crime to not mention Frances MacDormand like i mean what has not been said about her she is one of the greats. That this film is only 1 hour and 30 minutes long is baffling to me because this feels more grand than Pulp Fiction.
