Armageddon
it's such an emotional movie because Armageddon has always been my parents' favorite movie, so watching it felt a little more special.
maybe it's the nostalgia, maybe it's the story, but this movie hits way harder than people give it credit for. beneath all the chaos, explosions, and questionable science, it's really just a story about love, sacrifice, and saying goodbye.
and don't even get me started on "Leaving on a Jet Plane". the moment that song starts playing, my heart genuinely sinks. knowing what's coming makes every scene hurt a little more.
i thought i was watching a disaster movie, but somehow i ended up crying over
maybe i'm biased because it reminds me of my mom and dad, but yeah... this one got me.😬😔
