Badlands

I understand why some people might find this movie boring, but I actually loved how calm and slow it was. The cinematography is beautiful and makes even simple scenes interesting to watch. What I found especially fascinating is how Holly talks about murders and other tragic events in a surprisingly calm and detached way, which makes this film feel almost dreamlike.
