Elephant
Elephant is so bland but in a good way, It doesnt try to keep you entertained through stunning visuals or quotable dialogue it’s just very normal. It’s boring and mundane in a way that copies everyday generic life through the lives of multiple characters and that kept me entertained. It also shows how interconnected each choice we make is and how everyone’s day connects to everyone’s, there’s so many points throughout the film where you recognise subtle movements, people walking by or objects that allow you to be able to plot the chain of events even though it’s a non-linear storyline. Elephant is a great film and I think it does what Lost In Translation did with its realism but 10x better. I can see why many people would despise this film and I’m part of the many that love it.
