Fantastic.

I enjoy how small the world outside of the backrooms felt. It made the backrooms itself feel so much bigger and even more insurmountable. It was a pleasure to watch, and the creative decisions were unique and young. I hope the industry trust young talent more and we’ll get even better cinema.

I’m not a fan of Mark’s YouTube channel, but I am a fan of his artistic taste. His simultaneous directing and acting in this film was an awe inspiring experience that should not be sneezed at. On a 3 million dollar budget, this film does all it set out to do and more. At 2 hours of runtime, I truthfully expected to be bored, as I had read up on what Iron Lung is about prior to viewing. I was on the edge of my seat for its entirety. This was a creative masterpiece and a declarative debut film. Bravo!
