One Day

Apparently this is a very popular story and book!  Don’t wanna be too harsh but i dont think this is quite near the levels of normal people but its for sure got a lot going for it!  I think that there’s just not that many romance limited series out there, feels like a new genre of tv where you really get to flesh out a romantic story over many years in bite size episodes that are just so watchable.  This genre just has a lot of potential to really break your heart and the tv format is great for that, the runtimes are effective and it just works.  I do think there’s less to take away if you already know the story which I don’t but that’s probably why I quite enjoyed this very sad story!  You got some really solid performances on show some great young talent and their energy together is great and well captured but chemistry could’ve maybe been better, it’s still solid though.  I think my main issue would be I think it really suffers from flow and dialogue especially in the later episodes, I think it really peaks in the middle with flow especially and the first couple of episodes were just lacking a bit of cohesion but the ending sort of brings it all together but again there were just some questionable dialogue scenes and towards the end felt a bit rushed!  Think the romance limited series is just very untapped, it’s an effective way to get people to watch and care for 25 minutes an episodes.  What I really did like was Dexter weirdly flirting with his mother, Yh made me feel really weird!  Overall a lot of stuff to enjoy here.  Bravo
