it is one of the best films ive ever seen, kubrick did a wonderful work with the shining. the only thing i hated was how it ended, Jack being controlled by the hotel until his final moments. it was really frightening to watch the last scenes, but ngl, it was a good ending for a horror film. i just prefer the book’s ending because the characters felt more human there.

it was kinda cute and i loved the cinematography but the story was weird
