It’s builds on the original and has some fun twists, the amount of egregiously missed gun shots becomes stormtroop-level ridiculous, like filmmakers really need to stop relying on that storytelling device so heavily. I have to say that I really appreciate how Elijah Wood and Justin Long have become touchstone horror stand-ins. They don’t always necessarily add anything to their films, but they are just there for the love of the genre, like a mascot or something.

An arrested development sports comedy in the same vein as Happy Gilmore, but with much much smaller stakes. The film pretty much lives and dies on the likeability of Jake Johnson and the real chemistry between him and Mary Steenburgen. Is this Ed Harris’s first comic role?
