Childhood nostalgia 10/10 fever dream but I DO think the Louvre scene is impeccable and original Also: Brendan Fraser and Joan Cusack in this which is 🤌

I understand that it was influential for its time and is one of the groundworks for horror today but it's also really old and I lack the ability of viewing things from their time of origin at least regarding the technical aspects. I can acknowledge that it's a movie that needs to be viewed through a different lense but I wouldn't watch it again

It's fine, not bad not great. Fell flat Story-wise but the SFX make-up was really good. Disturbing and graphic but I was hoping for more pyramid and archaeology type of horror... The big bad evil could've been every other antagonist from the conjuring series.
