“You have no power over me.” i love love love this film  i’ve watched it many times since i was a kid i remember being so scared of the fire gang because it freaked me out that they could throw their limbs around this movie has the perfect amount of metaphors, and touches on friendship, betrayal, shame, redemption, desires, etc so well. I especially love the scene of the dance between Jareth and Sarah, her being both bewitched by her desires and afraid of them at the same time. its such an accurate depiction of that change within u as a teen. and the following scene in the junkyard where she has to break free from the nostalgia of her childhood in her room in order to rescue her baby brother. so so good
