What an incredible debut from Coogler

I love how this essentially plays out like a Looney Tune, I wish more comedies were brave enough to be this absurd (but then again, nobody can really go toe-to-toe with Mel Brooks anyway). I will say though, even though I understand their purpose in the film, some of the off-color jokes really caught me off guard, particularly when the punchline was just a slur.
