100 Girls
This movie was surprisingly amazing. Very pro feminist film. The main guy is just like me. Such an underrated masterpiece. The dialogue in it was really good. Here some takes I have about feminist I wanna share because of this film.
Girls are just way more superior to guys. They don’t need sex to live, and guys need sex to have power, but remove the power and they are worthless.
How come when a girl has sex she gets called a slut, but when guys do it, it’s fine? Especially in high school. Like guys wanna lose their virginity before college otherwise they be called a wimp. While if a girl lost their virginity before that then all of sudden she’s a bad person. Doesn’t make sense to me
I don’t understand how you can be a guy and want a boy instead of a girl. You are the one raising them. The double standards are crazy. Like if a girl brings a guy home, then that’s trouble, but if a boy does it, that’s fine. I hate that system.
Also, why is it that if your son is gay, the mom is supportive, and when the daughter is a lesbian, the dad is supportive? Why does the system work like that? It doesn’t make sense.
I’m a guy who loves when the main character in media is a female, while most guys hate that and are sexist about it, and I don’t know why. Like how are you sexist about that but love your mother?
Both men and women are so similar. Women are able to control themselves more, but men are able to do a lot of things because women are “easy” in a way. Like imagine if all women didn’t break so easily, society would be doomed. But men are very easy too. Like if a woman sleeps with 100 men at the age of 20 or something like that, it’s because guys are easy. They will stick anything inside, and it doesn’t matter how attractive a woman is as long as she offers it. So women are easy in the sense of searching, while men are easy because they are the reason why girls are able to be in control.
One more about this film, the girl he ended up with deserves better. He only chose her cause she revealed herself. He judged her in the beginning. Never even thought it could’ve been here.
Wait actually one more thing for real. I’m seeing some of the reviews and a lot of y’all are ignoring the good part. Yes, there were scenes where they were misogynistic, of course, but Matt had to learn, and over time he befriended so many girls and was actually so respectful. Girls felt safe around him. And his roommate was a douchebag that stemmed from low self-esteem, but we see characters like that in Chasing Amy, only to hide their insecurities. Honestly, I don’t know, maybe this movie was cliche, but it definitely tried.
