If someone who didn’t watch films watched this, they would hate it, be so confused, and leave without finishing. But since I love movies, I stuck through it and I loved it. This is such a fuc*ed up movie and genuinely very confusing, and so many wild things happen. This movie definitely takes you for a ride. The ending really helped me put almost everything together, at least on the surface level. She was definitely trapped in a game where she died years ago, and she is the main character, and she cannot die but everyone around her can. Some of the characters became aware of that and tried to break the cycle. Speaking of that, one of the characters, Aki, was shown as her spirit guide. I want to talk more about Aki and her. Their relationship was definitely romantic, very lesbian-like. They were meant for each other. Because of the system, they could not be together since a man created the game. I love their dynamic. I do not really know what the pillows were trying to symbolize. I guess the white feather was trying to show uncertainty while the red feather showed a conclusion. That is the only thing I can think of. Like one of her friends said, “Only something unexpected will change your destiny,” and she decided ending her life would prevent all the deaths because she was programmed not to die, so now everyone is free. Seriously, this movie was really good. While watching it I was like, “Wtf am I watching?” It is so strange but it is really good and deep. Her and Aki are 100% canon, I do not care.
