Do Revenge

-If this film has no fans then I’m dead - I acc love it sooo much and it’s acc criminally underrated. The plot is soo good and I bet if it came out in the 90s with a more 90s vibe it would be so much more liked. - I’m glad it didn’t come out in the 90s cause I acc adore the modern vibe of it. If the early 2020s was a film, it would be ‘do revenge’.  - the actor for max was kinda good cause I acc despised him sm which I guess was the intention. I just think it’s funny how the villain of a film is just a performative white man. - I didn’t even find it that cringey as well like some bits were a tiny bit but I feel like it just perfectly embodied that era so well (which obvs was a bit cringey) and omg the soundtrack was such a vibe. ‘Brutal’ and ‘Happier than Ever’ were defo my faves but when ‘Dumb Dumb’ started playing it was acc such a flashback cause I lowkenuinely forgot that song existed  - I acc loved Eleanor and the twist leaves me shook every time. I think I like Drea a bit more consistently but I love how Eleanor just becomes more evil throughout and I think she’s my fave by the end (it’s rlly close tho). I love dra but I do wish Eleanor got a more screentime  - drea is acc so iconic and I love how she just ruins everyone’s lives for fun like adds a the instagram witch and then Sophie turner at tennis camp with the cocaine. Her friend was also rlly cracking me up.  - I didn’t hate him cause but russ was kind of getting on my nerves sometimes like why did he start going on abt his parents divorce Idgaf. I liked the paint scene and it was giving me ‘10 things I hate about you’ vibes but that’s all I rlly liked abt him tbh - Clarissa is such a mess and she lowk deserved to get expelled. I’m glad they made it so she’s too privileged to got to prison cause I don’t think she deserved that cause all she did was break up with Eleanor. - I kind of wish Dreas old friends were in it for cause other than her bsf the other three didn’t rlly do enough cause they were so funny whenever they were there. I did kind of love her bsf and it was cute how she let drea have the bathroom for the year but I still don’t get why she dropped drea so easily if she lived her so much cause I just thought she’d be unbothered that drea was sad - I kind of liked gabbi and I’m glad Eleanor had someone to be herself around other then drea.  -I just kind of loved everything about it and it kept me entertained the entire time like I above love the twist but I love how Eleanor slowly started falling for maxs manipulations and thinking that they all acc liked her like they did with drea - i just think it deserves sm more appreciation and i think it’s one of those movies where I’d love for there to be a sequel case i just want to see more of drea and Eleanor tg
