hi guys halfassed review today cause i have work experience but i rewatched in honour of seeing disclosure day soon!!! so excited!!! i will never understand the rating curve for this movie and forever defend it, anyways that being said for my own sake i do think war of the worlds is one of those movies that gets better every watch because i’m not sat in pure horror i know there’s a happier ending. (though not that i necessarily like it. i have my complaints about it icl.) the first watch….complete opposite. bar some funny exchanges toward the start its pure torture watching those disgusting fucking tripods i actually hate them. dont get me wrong though i was still on the edge of my seat the whole time!!! to me war of the worlds is so beautiful stylistically and in terms of the story it makes me so emotional. dakota fanning is so phenomenal at such a young age in this HELLO??? and OBVIOUSLY you know i’m gonna say about tom cruise ohmygod. SO GOOD IN THIS MOVIE. i really love his performance of ray it’s captivating to me in how he portrays being a father, not a good one by any means but still having love for his children and wanting to become better even if it takes a literal disaster to do so😭. and god….need him ssoooo bad he’s *insanely* pretty in this. spielberg please objectify tom cruise again in your next movie i need more spielberg/cruise combinations im watching minority report tonight anywaysss i have to stop now cause im typing this infront of people and idk how many can see what im saying. i’ll add to it later as always 🙂‍↕️

now given my record for loving bad films if they have tom cruise it was only a matter of time before i rewatched this one. and unfortunately it was way more fun than i remember…. it’s so badass i can’t even try and lie and say otherwise yeah it sucks but it’s gorgeous and funny and it’s mine now okay i literally do not care if it’s bad the stunts are crazy too and nyah is so fine i swear to god they should have kept her im having a really bad day today please let me have it im sorry im ashamed too. obligatory i want to fuck tom cruise so badly statement i’m like salivating please he’s so hot in this one. jesus fucking christ you guys. oh i wanna straddle him like that sooo bad.  love that hair wow what a beautiful lady ethan hunt is

i’m sorry i’m so sorry. you’ll never guess how im back here.  LISTEN with what im seeing in this fucking film with all the booty shots, long flowing hair and glistening thighs ridley scott you’re a filthy pervert for making this and i’m even filthier of a pervert for thinking what i do about it. constantly. maybe ill join cruisetwt one day and stop lurking but until then what i say about tom cruise and his gorgeous glittery ass in this stays on priv. that’s all i’ll say.  anyways way more fun than i remember??? and SOO PRETTY like ohmygod you guys. i just can’t believe im back here.
