Full Metal Jacket

Kubrick toes the line of irony masterfully. Showing explosive war tactics as well as sad realities of invading and destroying another’s’ homeland The only thing standing in between our patriots and providing some unconsensual freedom is a 14 yr old sniper Jokers slow descent into the 1000 year stare is fantastic Dialogue does great at showing a characters motivations and intentions wo being overly on the nose like today Soundtrack is insane - bird is the word
