Scream

The reporter keeps living... This has to be the worst Ghost Face reveal and the closest to the original Ghost Faces actors. (Lemme explain) SPOILERS The opening sequence gets a 9/10. They give Ghost Face an incredible dialogue, and Jenna Ortega's acting ties it all together. Negatives with this movie include the pacing, which took around 15 minutes to get going. Ghost Faces. The Ghost Faces that were revealed are easily some of the worst. It was so predictable. You get Mikey Madison and Jack Quaid. Not to mention Mikey Madison sticks out like a sore thumb when everyone meets with Jenna Ortega in the hospital. Jack Quaid is a given because he's Jack Quaid and he's the boyfriend. Positives include the story, humor, and pretty much everything else. This has to be the funniest and most fun I've had in a Scream movie. I was laughing my azz off every 5 minutes... The only reason I rank this above OG Scream (not Scream) is because I just had a great time. The kills and the humor carried it. Ghost Face just stabbing the same person 10 times did it for me. The better made movie is OG Scream, but the most fun Scream movie is Scream 2022. Loved that they had Mikey Maddison die on fire. Amazing callback to Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Also, this movie was made by the creators of Ready or Not, which makes sense because the third act house scenes felt similar to Ready or Not.
