SLC Punk

this is one of my favourite Mathew Lillard movies, they finally took him away from being a side character in movies like scream and hackers, and finally gave him his own movie where he stars as a punk living in Salt Lake City Utah, he loves running a muck and hates nazis which is what all punks do. This film explores the punk subculture better than any other movie in my opinion, the  vibrant colours and camera work make this film so visually attractive and stunning that you can’t look away. Stevos wardrobe is one of my favourite in cinema and the soundtrack is phenomenal too with bands such and the ramones and adolescents making appearances. I think the main pinnacle of this movie is when Mathew breaks down and gives us a raw and talented scene between him and Bobs dead body, the tears and emotion feels so real and lifelike it makes me cry everytime. This film doesn’t get nearly as much recognition as it deserves and I pray people will learn to love it more
