Train Dreams
“Years passed and he found himself still waiting, though at this point he couldn’t say for what”
This is one of those films you have to rewatch several times to fully understand why it resonates so much with you.
Loved every second of it. It was the most visually beautiful as well as the most beautifully told film i think I’ve ever seen. Definitely gonna come back and rewatch soon.
I was honestly sceptical when I started watching this because I was afraid it was gonna be one long dragged out overrated borefest, but wow I was wrong. As of now, this would without a shadow of a doubt be the film I’d recommend you if you were to ask.
“But on that spring day, as he misplaced all sense of up and down, he felt, at last, connected to it all”
Wow. Perfect.
EDIT: Watched this a second time. Might literally be the best film of all time.
