Berserk

curious that this tv series is on lb but glad i can log it. finished on the watch date and while i think it's pretty great, there's a lot "wrong" with it, too. in 2023 it definitely shows its age. however, the characters, plot, music, setting are all pretty top notch. at times, the animation is great and the pace elevates the plot points. at other times, the animation is stale/static and imo detracts from what is being conveyed. the pacing, when slow, feels pretty dull, but i understand it's in service of the high points which are pretty fantastic. overall im glad to finally have taken the plunge and it definitely does increase my curiosity about plunging into the manga, which is something ive never considered in the past
