Seriously debating on if this movie makes my top 4! I love movies about time or space, they just get you thinking and actually makes you engage with the movie. While the humans experience time as a line from past to future, the heptapods experience it all at once, which is represented in the circular type language. (No beginning or end). Louise learns this language during her time with the heptapods. This is show with the future events with Ian and Hannah. (Not memories) Obviously there are some plot holes within this movie, but just like the message I take from the movie I'm choosing the live in the moment and enjoy the experience.
