Predestination

This movie shattered me in the best way. Every twist felt like my brain was folding in on itself, but what really stayed with me was Jane and John. Their story was beautiful and devastating, and Sarah Snook gave one of the most powerful performances I’ve ever seen. Ethan Hawke grounded it perfectly, but she absolutely stole the show. I loved everything—the writing, the atmosphere, the emotions. the way it made me question identity, love, fate, and whether we ever really escape who we are. It’s the kind of film that doesn’t just mess with your head, it breaks your heart and then makes you thank it for the pain.
