Fanny and Alexander

A monumental tale I watched over 5 days. This last film in the Criterion Bergman box was on my watchlist for a while. Last year around Christmas I watched the first act but never finished. I decided to wait until Christmas approached again to rewatch and finish this film. This has a lot of setup, something that is to be expected in a film that is this long. I felt it didn’t really get going until act 3 but by then I was hooked and eagerly awaited the conclusion.
